Meeting Starts: 6:30PM at the West Valley LAPD Community Police Station – 19020 Vanowen St., Reseda 91335.
As he is serving his final term in office, please join in as we express our appreciation and honor the Councilmember for over a decade of service to the West Valley. Given the current conditions in Los Angeles including the approaching 2028 Olympics, significant homelessness challenges, city budget constraints, and intense development within the West Valley area, our meeting will focus on an open discussion, conversation and Q & A with Councilmember Blumenfield. We will learn of his final term legacy and discuss his accomplishments and initiatives that have affected more than 256,000 residents and community members in Canoga Park, Reseda, Tarzana, Winnetka, and Woodland Hills.
The Councilmember will discuss his accomplishments and major initiatives, address current public safety and development concerns and then answer your questions on topics ranging from homelessness & housing, unarmed crisis response to homeless persons, LAPD staffing, budget cuts, animal services, infrastructure & quality of life, crime trends, accountability, the future of the valley, community priorities, advice to residents, unfinished businesses and more.
So join us as we honor Councilmember Blumenfield for over a decade of service to the West Valley Community.
